Richmond Hill State School is located in Charters Towers and was established in 1895.

Strong supportive relationships between school, staff, parents and the broader community is a tradition that has been forged year after year to nurture parental involvement and community engagement through Successful Transitions for our Kindy Kids commencing in Term 2 each year prior to joining Prep, Aboriginal Liaison Officer Support, Deadly Choices Program, Transition to CTSHS Program, P&C, Adopt-a-cop, and our Student Leadership Program.
Our programs of distinction include: Instrumental Music, Global Tropic Futures Particpation (Year 6/5) Literacy Groups, Writing Program, Student Leadership, Early Years Learning include: Successful Transition to Richie Program and Richie Playgroup-KIPPAR.
